Mount Merrion Medical Clinic is a vibrant, friendly family practice situated in the heart of Mount Merrion.

The Clinic was established in 1989 by Dr Noreen O’Hanrahan and relocated to its current premises in 2006.  Dr Gillian McLaughlin joined the practice in 2010 followed by Dr Thomas O’Byrne in 2018.

Dr Noreen O’Hanrahan retired in 2022 and the  clinic has continued with Dr Gillian McLaughlin, Dr Thomas O’Byrne, Dr Sinéad Kelly-Keating, our practice nurse Vanessa Mulcahy, supported by our dedicated administration team of secretaries Patricia Haughton, Maire Kilgallen and practice manager Anne Burns.

Under 8 Doctor Visit Cards

All children under 8 years of age living in Ireland can apply to the HSE for a Doctor Visit Card which entitles them to free GP care. Please see the link below for further information

 

Free Contraception for 17-35 year olds

We are pleased to announce that the clinic is participating in the HSE scheme for free contraception for 17-35 year olds. This means that consultations for contraception and prescriptions from your pharmacy are free with or without a Medical Card. You need a valid PPS number to access this free service.
