Repeat Prescriptions

All repeat prescriptions must now be requested online. It is best practice as per the Medical Council for all prescription requests to be in writing to minimise the risk of errors. 

When you request your repeat prescription, please ensure to nominate the Pharmacy that you want your prescription to be sent to and that you list the medication required including the dose. 

The request will be reviewed by one of the Doctors to decide whether an appointment is required or not.

You will be sent an sms message to confirm that your request has been completed or if an appointment is required. 

There is a €30 prescription charge for private patients with no charge for public patients (who have a current valid GMS Medical Card or Doctor Visit Card)
